It's the 200th anniversary of Mary Shelley's Frankenstein, and in honor of this literary landmark Congressional Cemetery is hosting educator Dean Howarth for "The Science of Frankenstein." Learn about the macabre experiments that inspired Shelley's own creation, and watch as these electrical experiments are recreated - legally, of course. Based on his experience as a veteran science educator and collaborator with museums and historic sites Mr. Dean Howarth, in his role as the Natural Philosopher, will use a collection of replica instruments and props to engage and entertain his audience.
Tickets are $20 and include one Frankenstein cocktail (or beer/wine for our less adventerous souls). Performance takes place in the Congressional Cemetery Chapel. Attendees must be 21+
