Sunday Strolls in the Cemetery

By Historic Congressional Cemetery (other events)

17 Dates Through Nov 29, 2020

ABOUT ABOUT

Due to the increased demand, we are happy to offer in-person tours on Sundays in addition to the Facebook Live tours on Saturdays.
Our Sunday tours will begin at 1 pm, and will be an informal look at the history of Congressional Cemetery.

Please be aware that the cemetery is open to dogs on Sundays, so please only visit if you're comfortable with off-leash pups. Docents may pick their favorite stories or give a specialized tour, rather than giving a standard broad look at the cemetery's history. Join us for a grab bag of history and lore!

Reservations are now required. Tours are limited to 9 people. $5 donation per person. No walk-ups allowed. Face coverings are required to be worn by all attendees over the age of two for the entire tour. If you do not have a face covering, one will be provided to you. If you refuse to wear a face covering, you will not be permitted to join the tour.

Sunday tours begin at 1 pm, and comfortable attire is strongly encouraged. Visitors may meet docents at the front gate. PLEASE BRING YOUR TICKET WITH YOU

Restrictions

Any person that refuses to wear a mask for the entirety of the program will not be permitted to attend the tour.
