ABOUT ABOUT

Join us for a guided tour of Congressional Cemetery, sharing the secrets and stories of this hidden gem. Among the 65,000 burials at Congressional are scores of noteworthy citizens who left their mark on the city and the nation. Find out more about their amazing stories. Please come prepared with comfortable clothing and shoes, as the tours often stray from the main paths. The Cemetery is closed to dogs on Saturdays from 11am - 3pm.

Docents may pick their favorite stories or give a specialized tour, rather than giving a standard broad look at the cemetery's history. Join us for a grab bag of history and lore!

Reservations are now required. Tours are limited to 9 people. $5 donation per person. No walk-ups allowed. Face coverings are required to be worn by all attendees over the age of two for the entire tour. If you do not have a face covering, one will be provided to you. If you refuse to wear a face covering, you will not be permitted to join the tour.

Saturday tours begin at 11 am, and comfortable attire is strongly encouraged. Visitors may meet docents at the front gate. PLEASE BRING YOUR TICKET WITH YOU
