This tour will be a walk through American military history, from the American Revolution to the present, through the stories and personalities of military graves and memorials at Historic Congressional Cemetery.
For years, Congressional Cemetery's docents have consistently offered Saturday tours of Congressional Cemetery. Now, due to the breadth of expertise and knowledge of our volunteer docents, we're happy to add a veteran focused tour.
Tours are limited to 25 people. The tour begins at 11:00 am, rain or shine, and visitors may meet docents at the front gate. Comftorable attire is reccomended and the cemetery grounds are closed to dogs 11:00 AM-3:00 PM on Saturdays.
