In partnership with Just Walk, join us for a Halloween pet portrait in your pup's favorite place! Options for portraits include either dog or family style. Plan to dress up in your favorite costume! We will have some costume options available for your pet as well as seasonally spooky backgrounds and decorations.
Portraits will take place on the 9/11 Memorial Path under the cherry trees near the Sousa family plot. This event will take place while the Cemetery is closed to off-leash dogs. This is the family gravesite visit time, so please be respectful and follow the signage to keep your dog on-leash to and from the portrait site.

The K9 Corps at Historic Congressional Cemetery is private dogwalking program, bringing life, community, and volunteerism to this extraordinary burial ground. A portion of the sitting fee will benefit Historic Congressional Cemetery.

When will the event take place?
The pop up pet portrait will take place Saturday, October 31, 2020 from 11a-3pm. In order to maintain safe practices we are holding the event outside and using timed passes.
Do I have to be a member to go?
No, this event is open to the public and their well socialized dogs.
How will this work?
Sign up for an available time slot. In order to maintain social distancing, you will be required to wear a mask and only 1 group will be let into the grounds at a time. The pop up studio will be outdoors. Within, you will be emailed a link to view your photos and order prints.
What camera is being used?
A Canon 2000D Rebel T7.
