On the first Thursday of every month this summer, join us at Congressional Cemetery for twilight tours of the grounds. Tours will leave on the half hour and no single tour will be the same: each docent will be here to show you their favorite quirky and little-mentioned spots tucked away in the cemetery. For your donation, you receive a docent-led tour of the grounds PLUS a glass of wine to carry with you on your journey. Further drinks can be purchased at the bar.
Tours are rain or shine and leave from the Chapel within the cemetery. Wear comfortable shoes and bug spray, and be prepared to see off-leash dogs courtesy of Congressional Cemetery's K9 Corps, our membership dog walking program. We hope to see you on a Thursday evening this summer!
