ABOUT ABOUT

We are going to follow the model of "Dinner & a Movie" for Cinematery again this year. We want people to enjoy the Cemetery at night, but we want to make sure we do it safely! Tickets will be limited to 100 people. Join us for an evening under the stars!

So pack your chairs or picnic blanket and plan to join us for an exclusive picnic at a gorgeous Washington landmark.
Your ticket will include dinner, provided by Farm to Feast Catering.

Your dinner will include an entree, non-alcoholic drink and dessert. THIS EVENT IS BYOB.

Meals will include choice of:
1) Chili And Lime Grilled Chicken over Corn and Tomato Salad with Biscuit (GF available), bottle of water, and Fruit Salad and Meringue
2) Grilled Cilantro Shrimp over Corn and Tomato Salad with Biscuit (GF available), bottle of water and Fruit Salad and Meringue
3) Grilled Garlic Portobello Mushroom over Corn and Tomato Salad with Biscuit (GF available), bottle of water and Fruit Salad and Meringue
*The shrimp choice is an additional $5*

As a bonus, we will be showing a movie at our picnic. This is the summer of classic movie monsters. Emerging from the shadows, the swamps, and the science labs, these iconic figures are the terrifying misfits and fiends that have inspired generations of moviegoers. They are the hallowed icons of horror - the original Monsters - who've given shape and meaning to that word, as much as to humanity's dark fears and frailties. Yet, whether they be accurst, misguided, or misunderstood, monsters are also undeniably captivating, and when you watch the classic Universal Pictures films like DraculaFrankensteinThe Mummy,  and The Wolf Man, you see that it‘s not only their incomparable stories, but their unforgettable images, that have made them such powerful symbols.

This month, the movie will be "Frankenstein" from 1931 - starring Boris Karloff.

This outdoor summer movie series offers audiences one of the most magical nightlife entertainment experiences in Washington, DC. Come early to be a part of the fun!

The movie will begin at sunset, around 8:30 pm. Gates open at 6:30 pm.

All donations go towards our 501(c)3 nonprofit and the continued preservation of our historic cemetery.
